Texas Flame Parrot Tulip:
The Tulip 'Texas Flame', ' Tulipa parrot', a fall planted bulb, is an exotic, ruffled Parrot Tulip with short compact foliage and big red and yellow flaming blooms. Parrot tulips are wonderfully colored, with deeply fringed, frilled and wavy petals. Whatever the color may be, most flowers will have a green spot in the middle base of the petals. They are particularly sensitive to poor weather conditions and should be planted in protected areas. Parrot Tulips are best grown as a display on their own, in borders or containers, and either as a mixture or in groups of single varieties.
