White Emperor Fosteriana Tulip:
The Tulip 'White Emperor', or 'Purissima', 'Tulipa fosteriana', is a fall planted bulb. The bloom is exquisitely shaped and borne on a graceful, sturdy stem. Make an impact in your garden and plant tulips in groups of 25 to 50 for a dramatic effect. For the best effects, plant the bulbs in clusters of 5 to 15 bulbs of one variety, or scatter clusters throughout the garden or flower border. It is advisable not to plant tulips in the same location in the garden year after year. Tulips are excellent for mass planting, rock gardens, containers, cut flowers, and borders.
