Sunshine Blue Bluebeard:
The Bluebeard Sunshine Blue, 'Caryopteris x clandonensis', a Proven Winners slection, is a compact Bluebeard that is a stonger plant than Worcester Gold. Sunshine Blue blooms from July through September. Sunshine Blue has rich blue flowers that overwelm the pale blue blooms of other cultivars. Caropteris is a valueable plant for the garden because it provides late season blooms when many other plants have passed their prime. Use this plant in a mixed border or as a mass planting in dry, sunny areas and for cut flowers. This plant is very attractive to butterflies.
