The Coneflower Sunrise, 'Echinacea purpurea', is an easy to grow flower that produces beautiful citron yellow daisy-like flowers. The center of this coneflower starts out green and turns gold. Blooming from July to October and a major attractor to butterflies and bees and deer resistant, it is a must for any perennial gardens. Echinacea is said to increase immune function, reduce the effects of colds and flu’s, fights off viral, bacterial and fungal infections and purify the blood and flush waste from the lymphatic system.
