Great Quaking Grass:
The Grass Great Quaking, 'Briza maxima', produces fluffy kites dangling on threadlike stems that quiver and dance on every passing breeze. The Great Quaking Grass is very easy for novice gardeners or children to grow. The sound and the appearance of the flower heads blowing in the breeze is soothing. Plant in the spring, 3 weeks before the last average frost date. Spray the flowers with florist dye to create any color you want. This plant is used for a tall, grassy groundcover.
