The Grass Bunny Tails, 'Lagurus ovatus', is wonderful for flower arrangements. The furry flowers are practically shatter-proof. Kids love the flower heads. Bunny Tails forms an upright fountain of charming soft and fluffy flower heads that are as soft as an actual bunny tail. The 2 inch long flower head are dense, pale and feathery. Plant in the spring, 3 weeks before the last average frost date. Spray the flowers with florist dye to create any color you want. This plant is used for a tall, grassy groundcover.
