Weigela - GhostGäó:
Weigela Ghost, Weigela 'GhostGäó' PPAF, features deer resistant foliage that is almost supernatural! In the spring, the foliage emerges lemony-green and then transforms to a ghostly, iridescent buttercream in mid-summer. The striking blood-red flowers in spring are preceded by equally impressive buds that are almost black-red in color! Weigela GhostGäó is easy to grow and makes an excellent specimen plant in the landscape! The only thing this freaky plant will scare is the deer! It grows best in full sun to partial sun and prefers well-drained soil. Easy to grow, unpalatable to deer, and very heavy-blooming, this shrub deserves a prominent position in your landscape. Hummingbirds are attracted to the intense color and sweet nectar.

"A team grew fruit, vegetables and reared cattle on adjacent organic and non-organic sites across Europe. They found up to 40% more antioxidants could be found in organic fruit and vegetables than in non-organic.
The team said the findings call into question the current stance of the Food Standards Agency (FSA), which is neither for nor against organic food."Free
