Barberry - SunjoyGäó Gold Pillar:
Barberry Sunjoy Gold Pillar, Berberis thunbergii 'Sunjoy™ Gold Pillar', is another outstanding Proven Winners® Color Choice® shrub that is a must have for every landscape. 'Sunjoy™ Gold Pillar' is similar in shape to 'Helmond Pillar', but with bright golden foliage and red new growth. The 3-4' pillars of gold provide great garden architecture and look stunning in autumn as the foliage turns a blazing orange-red. Will not burn like other yellow leaved barberry. Easily grown in average, dry to medium, well-drained soil in full sun. Tolerates light shade, but needs full sun to develop best foliage color. Very adaptable shrub that is tolerant of many pollutants in urban areas. 'Sunjoy Gold Pillar' needs a well drained area and can tolerate some drought. Use 'Sunjoy Gold Pillar' intermingled with other plants to fill in the middle ground of a combination.

"A team grew fruit, vegetables and reared cattle on adjacent organic and non-organic sites across Europe. They found up to 40% more antioxidants could be found in organic fruit and vegetables than in non-organic.
The team said the findings call into question the current stance of the Food Standards Agency (FSA), which is neither for nor against organic food."Free
