Weigela - White Knight:
Weigela - White Knight, Weigela florida 'White Knight' (PP8348), displays light pink buds in the spring that open to a pure white flowers over green foliage, and these gorgeous flowers continue to bloom all summer. The blooms occur singly or in clusters all along the branches of the previous year's growth. They frequently cover the entire shrub with funnel-shaped, pure white flowers in May-June There is a less showy repeat bloom usually occurring in late summer. Among weigelas, the flower of White Knight is unique because it is both fragrant and pure white. White Knight reaches 5' to 6' feet tall and is easily grown in average, medium, well-drained soil in full sun. For best flowering, it needs full sun but will tolerate very light shade. Prune to shape after flowering. When not in flower, this shrub tends to look rather ordinary.
